RESURFACING
Maintain your parking lot or roadways by replacing layers of damaged asphalt with new pavement.
ASPHALT RESURFACING
Resurfacing can repair large areas of damaged asphalt without replacing the undamaged asphalt in the subbase, below the damaged area.
Resurfaced parking lots will look and function like new pavement. The ability to keep good asphalt reduces replacement costs.
The resurfacing process beings by milling down the entire asphalt surface until the damaged areas are removed. The first 1.5” to 2” of asphalt is milled when asphalt binding layer needs repair, first 3” to 6” when asphalt subbase needs repair. The milling process also allows parking lot slope and grade to be adjusted to ensure proper water drainage. New asphalt is then paved over the milled area once repairs to the binding or subbase layer are made.
